| Matthew Bartlett Standing Before the Man |
Soon after Matthew Bartlett’s contempt of court incident, I thought about the TV commentators’ ideas on a favorable profile for a juror sympathetic to Casey Anthony. They described the ideal juror for the defense as a young male. I’m not sure if they thought such a guy would have some attraction to Casey which could cloud his objectivity or if the guy simply wouldn’t or couldn’t believe that a woman in his age group could do such a thing. Regardless, Matthew Bartlett appears sympathetic to Casey. He also fits the bill of the demographic the commentators over 5 weeks ago described as a person likely to be favorable to Casey.
